Maybe the thought here is to encourage more efficient state consumption by devs with the benefit of transaction throughput increasing? And then presumably pruning would drop prices again. Market force on devs for induced demand on usage or something like that?

I mean, my preference would be that none of it gets enforced by laws. But I also get annoyed by running groups not respectfully using sidewalk space and impeding people with mobility issues. It’s something a bit more like a traffic flow and safety issue.

I’ve never hurt anyone with my noise but police shut it down. I’ve seen running groups yell at toddlers to get out of the way, and cyclists have killed multiple people in vancouver while not yielding to pedestrians. I just want both nuisances policed equally.
