💥SEC removes crypto from list of priorities for 2026
For the first time in many years, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has excluded crypto assets from its list of areas subject to enhanced oversight in 2026.
Under former SEC Chair Gary Gensler, the industry was considered a high-risk area, and spot ETFs on BTC and ETH were among the priorities for scrutiny.
Now, the regulator's focus is shifting toward AI technologies and automated investment algorithms. Cryptocurrency is no longer considered an area of heightened attention.
