Anime I Saw in the Month of December (Long post): 100 Meters (Movie): The animation is hand drawn, clean and amazing! The story is about how athletes stake their lives to prepare just for the 10 secs. It either makes you stronger or it can destroy you. No matter what happens you need a reason to keep moving on and just keep going at it! I loved the philosophical side of it and The rain sequence was simply brilliant along with the bgm pure goosebumps 🙏 Must watch for all sport lovers. Made in Abyss (25 episodes and a Movie): Don't let the kids fool you that the anime is gonna be a pleasant one! It is dark and amazing. Great Animation with a wonderful story. The world building with unknown monsters, Terrains and super powers is too good 👌 The story shows a kid and her robot friend setting out on an adventure to explore the Abyss (Great pit) in search of her mother. The sacrifices, friends and lessons you learn along the way when you leave everything aside to set out on an adventure knowing pretty well you cannot return back. Dororo (24 episodes): Hyakkimaru who was cursed since birth sets out on a journey with dororo to kill all the demons along the way and get his body back. Nice samurai action sequences and good philosophical elements to the anime. This is a classic and a must watch! Junji Itou Collection (13 episodes): A collection of all short creepy pastas. The stories as usual were creepy and crazy af. There are some scenes where you literally get scarred for life. The yakiniku grease episode is literally like EWWW WTF. Junji Itou certainly didn't disappoint. This anime isn't for everyone. If you can watch creepy, disturbing and horror stuff then it is for you. Horimiya (26 episodes): A feel good high school rom-com. Good story and nice characters! The second season is much more amazing with a lot of comedy in it 😄 Handa Kun (12 episodes): This anime is a prequel to Barakamon. This is an absurd and funny anime. You either like it or you don't there's no in between. The anime is about the life of Handa Kun who is actually famous in High school but he thinks everyone hates him and wants to kill him so throughout the anime there are a lot of misunderstandings and that's where the comedy is. Mieruko Chan (12 episodes): A decent watch if you're a horror fan. A story of a high school girl who can see ghosts. She encounters paranormal entities on a daily basis and how she just ignores them. Her encounters deliver scary as well as funny results 😅 It would have been nice if they made it outright scary or outright comedy but yeah a mix of both is still good but would have been better if they focused purely on one thing. Have you guys seen these anime? @retalien @pichi
