I want The /politics Network to emulate Democracy Now! as a nonpartisan political community of user generated content. I will espouse and defend my own politics here while remaining open and tolerating the other side, even incentivizing them the same I do my own side. I will dunk on them, I won’t be engaging in hitting the like button on their ish and if you degenerate in to childish unproductive insults on a consistent basis, kinda ruining the vibes even by your side’s standard, I’ll ban yo ass. This is not a leftist safe space. This* is where WE have the real debates and where actual political activation happens online. Whether it’s for my cause or yours, I want us to have a secure protocolized place we can all come together and have our disagreements or witness what the other side has to say/is doing. Somewhere that does not enshittify and algorithmically suppress in an obscure + arbitrary manner but lays at the rules/expectations that are constantly communally governed.
