I actually resonated pretty deeply with that, but I feel confident in telling you there is a way through. It is long, your mettle will endure into a razors edge, leaving but a thin line between the old and new. You dont forget all the feelings and thoughts, nothing just disappears, but as youve grown from them, how you define them and thus how they define you, inevitabley.. change; in all aspects, in all ways. But on the other side of it all there is the ability to decide for yourself who and what you are, unanchored from pain or trauma.. if any of that vibed with you, feel free to take shots at my mind at your leisure
