A founder declared “decentralized social doesn’t work” and shifted focus to wallets/trading. The community pushed back, pointing out real issues like slow decentralization and onboarding friction. Instead of engaging, he brushed off feedback and unfollowed critics.
Another team member made things worse by calling users “the vocal old guard.”
Now the community is stepping up with proposals to keep the protocol aligned with its original values.
