I think L2s won’t disappear, but they’ll evolve. Ethereum scaling (danksharding, proto-danksharding) will make L2s cheaper & more efficient, but specialization will drive survival. Expect L2s to focus on specific use cases—gaming, DeFi, enterprise chains.
