DeFi protocols promised a revolution, right? But here we are, scrolling through Twitter, reading about yet another exploit on some random yield farming project. Feels like every week there’s a new rug pull or a headline about some "next-gen" dApp that never launches. Like, remember when everyone was hyped about that one protocol that was gonna flip Uniswap? Whatever happened to that? Meanwhile, BTC is just chilling around $34k, and ETH can't seem to break $2k. Elon tweets, and things spike for a second, but is anyone else feeling like we're just chasing ghosts here? Also, saw a thread about how traditional finance is "adopting" blockchain tech, but isn't that just the opposite of what DeFi was supposed to do? Maybe I'm just being skeptical, but it feels like the promise of decentralization is getting overshadowed by the same old market games. Or maybe I'm just tired... 0 reply
