i think the Newton comparisons are unfair (and leveled way before AVP release) Newton was a miss in many areas- notably that the value prop was using the stylus for (bad) handwriting recognition but anyone who's used AVP understands spatial computing will be huge and that eye track + tap/gesture is the future of UI

i think if you're going to compare it to any product, it should be the first Macintosh Portable and i have no doubt future generations will make AVP look as antiquated as the PowerBook and MacBooks eventually did to the Mac Portable

Future of ii for consuming. For creation i believe we still need some extra tools ? But creators have never been the majority of course
