Thought this was a pretty good thread on NYT v ChatGPT. Havent read the opinion myself yet, but clearly we cant expect everyone who trains LLMs to pay licensing fees for every piece of training data. we also cant have piracy become the norm though. https://x.com/jason_kint/status/1740141400443035785?s=46
