My SBF book is gonna end a few of the careers that haven't been already
Today was a bad day. Bullish, the new owners of my former employer CoinDesk were found to have violated the newsroom's basic editorial independence, and punitively fired three top editors who objected. Sadly I saw this coming when the sale went through last year, because Bullish itself is an extremely suspect firm built in part on a fraudulent securities offering in 2017. I've written a summary of recent events, and of that dark history. Unfortunately, while there are still good people working there, the unavoidable conclusion is that CoinDesk, as it once was, is well and truly dead. https://davidzmorris.substack.com/p/breaking-coindesk-is-dead-heres-who
We have a split verdict in US v. Roman Storm. Mistrial on Money Laundering and Sanctions charges. Guilty on Section 1960, Money Transmission Busimess, fork C. 5 year max sentence, with Judge Failla acknowledging that the charge has many paths to appeal.
Unfortunately time constraints limit my posting here during trial days, but if you've enjoyed the coverage of Roman Storm from myself and The Rage on here, there is a donation address. Twitter raised $5,300 dollars in a few hours, are you going to let them beat you? https://etherscan.io/address/0x8570cac50327839880079f40953acb8507075b00
