watched project hail mary today.
> it's going to win best picture (had the same feeling after i watched everything, everywhere all at once)
- it had the nods/ inspo from films like 2001: a space odyssey (grace's red suit, spacecraft set design, walkway)
- close encounters (did you notice the iconic five-note motif to the first taps from rocky was the melody?) i'm too much of nerd of recognize it
- interstellar (visuals/sacrificial love and bond between cooper and murph/ tars like humor
- the martian (loneliness of space travel/ survival/ find a way- same author for the book)
- et (friendship) grace and rockys the relationship/ way of communication
it truly embodied the quote "good artist copy. great artist steal."
recommending watching it and 100% watching again in 70mm/ imax
