The average person doesn't care about the underlying peg logic.
Almost no one using fiat currency understands fractional reserve banking or central bank balance sheets, yet they use it daily.
What drives adoption is utility and historical stability. If it consistently holds its purchasing power, trust is built through experience, not technical comprehension.
