To kick things off, as a "day 0 contributor" to Base who witnessed its explosive growth, then left Coinbase to start NPC Labs - what was the exact moment you realized you needed to build B3? Was there a specifi...

re the inspiration for B3, while at Base, we came across gaming studios like Parallel wanting to launch new titles but running into real barriers on L2 - gas fees, throughout constraints, etc

and, at the same time, L3 architecture was just emerging and we realized it was a great solve for the pain points of these gaming devs who wanted to push the limits of what’s possible onchain. And so we took that opportunity to launch B3 and you’re seeing developers appreciate the low gas fees and web2-like UX

for me, restore econ freedom means giving both developers and players more ownership and better monetization vectord and we think that’s a strong antidote to the problems facing big gaming (who are the slow risk-adverse incumbent publishers like the EA and Activisions of the world)
