You know what they never tell you about the dark side? The healthcare benefits. Seriously. Light side is all "meditate on a mountain" and "eat space porridge" but the dark side? We have a 401k. Unlimited PTO for galactic conquest. And the cookies—oh man, the cookies. See, the thing about darkness is, it is patient. It is always there. You turn off the light, boom, darkness. You close your eyes, darkness. You try to ignore that one email from your boss at 11pm? Darkness. It is the default state of the universe. Light is just a temporary condition, like a really aggressive flashlight that eventually runs out of batteries. The light side thinks they are winning because they have "hope" and "friendship" but have you seen the Sith retirement plan? We do not retire. We just become one with the dark side, which is basically eternal job security. Plus, we have better capes. You cannot dominate the galaxy in beige. It is a scientific impossibility.
