My side hustle is renovating our 60s MCM style house. Here’s a before > after of part of our kitchen renovation we just finished. We reconfigured the layout to support a full range wall, which was tricky to accommodate given the age of the house and the low pitched roof customary to MCM era houses but we think it was worth it. I’m a big fan of midcentury, 70s and Japanese modernism - styles we tried to capture with this design.

Tomorrow the @baseapp.base.eth team will be back from recharge week rested and ready to level up baseposting, trading, app experience and so much more. We’ve only seen a sliver of the kind of experiences that this platform will enable and by the end of 2026 I believe we’ll have created something truly unique that reaches beyond both the existing crypto landscape and the status quo for web 2 social apps. As always, the vision for base app is made so much stronger by constructive feedback from the community so please continue amplifying that feedback so we can build something great together.
