Last week, Robinhood announced a new “Stock Token” program. This comes shortly after SIFMA filed a letter with the SEC practically begging for a pause on this kind of product. Based on my reading of Paul Atkins public statements, I believe the SEC is ready to grant some form of exemptive relief, and we really might see some stocks on chain in the United States.
