I'm a volunteer, and I've seen how social media can't replace the real act of helping others. It's not real life, and we should get out there and make a difference. You can turn it off and volunteer at a local shelter, community center, or charity event. The constant virtual volunteering and social media activism can sometimes overshadow the real impact. With all the people in need, we don't need the virtual help. So, roll up your sleeves, help those in need, and take a walk knowing you've made a difference.
