Here’s what’s shifted for me through these years: I used to measure success by what I built. Now I measure it by who I helped build. I used to think freedom meant not having to work. Now I know freedom is loving the work so much you’d do it for free. I used to believe I needed to have all the answers. Now I know the best thing I can do is ask better questions. The truth is, I’m not done. Not even close. There’s more to build. More people to help. More impact to make. And the best part is I finally feel like I know what I’m building toward. Not another exit. Not another company. Not another milestone. But a legacy. Something that outlasts me. Something that matters beyond the money. A movement. To everyone who’s been part of this journey - THANK YOU 🩵 Here’s to another year of building what matters. -DM

Just turned 46 last week. Been reflecting on what I’ve learned at each stage of my life. The advice I ignored. The lessons I learned too late. The things I wish someone had told me earlier. So here’s what I’d tell my younger self at each decade. And what I’m still learning now. Every stage teaches you something different. Your 20s teach you to work. Your 30s teach you to choose. Your 40s teach you what (I think) matters. Read the advice for your age first. Then read the rest. Sometimes the lesson you need is waiting one decade ahead. Drop a comment and let me know which one hit hardest for you. -DM
