Elaine Reichek Sampler (Kruger/Holzer), 1998 in the collection of the Whitney Museum Was lucky to take a studio art class with Elaine in college. Her work addresses the craft/art divide, the nature of women's work, and the connection between the pixel and the stitch as differently gendered types of mark-making.
