Some good news: I'm going on another fun short road trip to Eugene, OR with my IRL friend @popegrutch tomorrow.
Some mixed-blessing news:
- The trip is for apartment-hunting because he got a great new library job there that sounds perfect for him. Yay!
- Which means he's moving out of Portland soon and we'll no longer be able to get together often. *sad face*
I do love Eugene, and this gives me another reason to consider moving back there at some point.
But I'm sure gonna miss our monthly get-togethers and errand-friend outings in Portland.
(I'm hoping he'll return to casting here about old movies, books, and his cat eventually; in the meantime I'll just keep tagging him and talking about him as if he were here. Maybe it'll work... haha).
