Steps to attack Compound V2 (fork) lending protocol empty pool/market
- Ensure the market has a Collateral Factor (CF) > 0%.
- Mint a very small amount of the market CToken - 2 Wei.
- Donate a large amount (worth $ million X) of tokens into the market.
- Borrow tokens from target markets (e.g., ETH worth X * CF% * 50%).
- Withdraw (redeem) 99.99% of the donated tokens (supposed to fail but not due to precision calculation error).
- Successfully benefit the borrowed tokens, repeat with other target markets (ETH, DAI...).
