440 C, stainless Chef Knife. With brass pins, one mosaic. Ebony Gaboon, and a green Maple Burl for the handle. An of course a leather sheath to match the handle. Everything hand made. I can usually get handle materials in any color.

I normalize the steel a couple times then I use a plate quencher between two, one inch thick aluminum plates.

For your 440c do you oil quench or plate quench? Kiln or forge?
