Lacking the appropriate fear of nature, and ignoring warnings from locals. The reason many tourists come to Norway is to see the tall cliffs, mountains and glaciers. It is a raw and sublime experience, partially because it is so dangerous, and because it isn't walled in by fences. This is Preikestolen in Lysefjorden:
