The Dalbin Table is on display in the Josef and Anni Albers exhibition at Boghossian Foundation in the Villa Empain showing Damien Poulain’s work “Musical Writing”. The exhibition opened in April and will close next week September 8th, 2024.
“Musical Writing” is a work by visual artist Damien Poulain coded by Damien Mortini for Dalbin. This work consists of 100 color palettes (100 iterations) combined with interactive geometric shapes. At first, the visual composition is still. Your touch activates movements and the transformation of shapes. You create a random transitory state of the visual composition. This work debuted in the Dalbin Table at the Grand Palais Ephémère in Paris last February.
