I was talking out of my ass, Gemini (which also tends to talk out of it's ass) says there's a 2-3 week incubation period. If more body bags show up we need to shut down society RIGHT NOW for 4 weeks. Not for maybe two weeks which turns into 4 months. 4 weeks. Kill it in the crib or deal with the consequences that emerge later. It'll be impossible to shut down the country for 4 weeks in the current environment but if this is another false positive (such as covid) we may not have many attempts left to get this right. The travesty of this all is that if we do afact manage to shut down for 4 weeks (& not saying that's called for unless more bodybags surface next 7 - 14 days) it'll only further radicalize those that will claim the same outcome would have occured regardless. Both sides of the isle will claim victory for both shutting down and not doing so Creditials; I've played my far share of Plague Inc and happen to have more common sense than the average institution circa 2020 (high bar I know)
