Trust is earned through actions, not words. Why do you want to leave the hard stuff for when it's going to be even harder? Nail it from the get go... and the more people you can get to contribute, the stickier and stronger your foundation.

What do you base this on? If you decentralize later and you stuff it up, you will be destroying whatever value you managed to build up, assuming you can get there in the first place. 1M to 10M is not the jump you think it is. The leap happens much much sooner and at smaller numbers.
