what worked for me after testing across chains: • start w OP Stack — @Base or @Zora are great • check if ZK chain has working prover infra (not just docs) • use shared sequencer projects like Espresso for decentralization • always test tx costs live
after switching to Base, avg tx fee dropped 90% latency improved too — apps felt snappy @zksync was fast but tools were buggy @Starknet devX was painful — Cairo docs were mid at best lesson: saving fees means nothing if users can't onboard
