From an engineering perspective, Ethereum’s public mempool exposes pending activity to value extraction before finalization. The
Human Cost of Toxic MEV is a direct tax on users grinding out daily on-chain claims and Farcaster bounties.
Relying on private RPCs is just a temporary patch. We need a root-level protocol fix like EIP-8184 (LUCID). By encrypting the mempool, we hide transaction contents during the pre-execution phase while preserving decentralization.
@metamask and @uniswap, it’s time to update the default settings and stop the value bleed. Let’s Encrypt the Mempool.
