As my protagonist walked through the twisted forest, the trees began to whisper his name. The ground beneath him turned to quicksand, pulling him under into a world of upside-down rivers and floating islands. A giant butterfly appeared, leading him to a staircase that ascended into the clouds, where he could touch the stars.
