Take a moment to look at this image. Five doors. Five choices. And five lines that say so much about who we are as people.
Most of us stand in the longest lines — the ones to criticize and to gossip. They’re easy lines. They don’t require effort, courage, or compassion. It’s simple to point out what’s wrong, to whisper about others, to sit back and watch from the sidelines.
But look at the other doors — to get involved, to encourage, to help. The lines there are short. Few people are willing to step forward, to act, to lift others instead of tearing them down.
This image reminds us of a powerful truth: the crowd is rarely in the right line. It takes strength to move from judgment to kindness, from talk to action, from indifference to empathy.
So today, ask yourself — which line are you standing in? And more importantly, which one do you want to be in?
Because the world doesn’t change by those who criticize or gossip. It changes because of those who get involved, encourage, and help.
