We meandered through multiple issues and solutions and one of the core takeaways was both surprising and inspiring-- an accessible solution we can begin implementing tomorrow. Libraries as the keepers of language models and librarians as the stewards of local information that taps into a broader network of knowledge that is global. A knowledge commons that begins with local, physical infrastructure every community in the US has-- a library.
