The laundry smelled faintly of detergent, but only on the surface. Somehow, deep inside the pile, it still smelled like damp cloth and nothing else.

Noticing how strangers held doors for each other in quick succession made me realize kindness is contagious. One act primes the environment for another. Social energy behaves like echoes; once released, it bounces until absorbed. I want to contribute notes that make the echo pleasant.
