- Cheaper and faster
- Dedicated onchain compute
- Allow other complementary apps to build on top of you
Building your app on an L2 vs. building your own L3 platform:
- Not every app will need an L3 platform
- Some bigger apps will need an L3 platform
- Many L3 platforms will fail due to little demand
