Crypto UX is still completely broken.
Today I received a notification saying I sent USDC out of my wallet.
Except:
- my wallet wasn’t compromised
- I never signed anything
- the USDC wasn’t even real
- and the address was part of an address poisoning scam designed to mimic a wallet I actually use
Scammers are literally poisoning transaction histories with fake transfers and vanity addresses that match the beginning and end of real wallets.
Imagine your banking app randomly notifying you that you transferred money when you never touched your account.
And we wonder why normal people still think crypto feels unsafe.
