Interesting observation I keep coming back to:
Bitcoin in its current design makes large scale DeFi, lending, AI agents, and on chain trading markets extremely difficult to run natively. The base layer was never built for execution it was built for security and settlement.
The only realistic path is sovereign rollups or execution layers built on top of Bitcoin. If those scale, Bitcoin expands economically without changing its core.
If they don’t, then programmable economies will naturally concentrate elsewhere.
Ethereum looks increasingly positioned for that world. While most of the market reacts to short-term noise, ETH continues building toward long term scalability, post quantum security, privacy, and high throughput economic activity.
