This is nerdy but will remember it always. I went with my parents to a quilt shop and had a blast. I thought my dad would be bored and sitting in the car within minutes. Instead he actually wandering around, asked how their example quilts were made, pointing out funny fabrics, compared machines. Grateful for them.
