Launch of a Kaia Blockchain–Based Tokenized Shipping Finance Product
Singapore-based Galactica has launched the world’s first tokenized shipping finance product, “Pegasus,” through the regulated tokenization platform InvestaX. The product targets a USD 25 million bridge financing deal for an LNG carrier, with support from Indonesian shipping company Korindo and blockchain platform Kaia.
Eligible investors can participate in the shipping finance market with relatively small ticket sizes, gaining exposure to the growth potential of Indonesia’s maritime industry. This initiative represents an innovative case of using blockchain technology to enhance accessibility to traditional real-world assets.
