Stop Futures. The Story of Four Years of Slavery I’ve been in crypto since 2021. In April 2021, I tried futures trading for the first time and made a few thousand dollars on my very first trade. That success hooked me on the market — I thought I could easily repeat it. From 2021 to 2025, I traded on MEXC, Bybit, Binance, Kucoin, and OKEX with leverage from 2x to 100x, using different coins and strategies. The result was the same: I lost over $50,000, including $10,600 just in the past year. Futures trading ruined my life: my nerves, sleep, diet, and personal life all suffered. On October 11, 2025, the exchange liquidated everyone, even those with 2x leverage — if I had been in the market, I would have been wiped out too. Now, at the end of October, my balance is only a few hundred dollars. I realized the market makes money for exchanges, not for traders. I’m stopping trading and starting from scratch. I share my story to warn others: chasing quick money can cost far more than it gives.
