Remix project overview: investment, team, airdrop, connection with TBA
✤ Remix (formerly FarCade) is a browser-based mini-game platform with AI tools for creating and editing games. It has received $5 million in investments from Coinbase Ventures, Variant, Archetype Ventures, and others. The team consists of at least four people: @blackstock, @chuckstock, @samsteffanina, and @mrretweet1. They previously worked on WolvesDao, ShapeShift, CoinLap, and others.
— They recently launched a rebranded app that already has a bunch of games you can play and get points for, which we'll get an airdrop for after TGE. Today, I want to break down how you can get tokens and what you should focus on to get the most allocation for the drop in the future.
How can you earn points?
There are 5 ways to earn points: playing games, daily games, challenges, creating games, and the referral programme
1. Playing games
— There are currently 161 games for which we can earn points. In each game, we can earn 1.6k points, which means that for all games, we can earn a maximum of 257k points. The team is gradually adding new games for which you can earn points, so the maximum number of points will change.
My top 3 games
• Pixel Survivors (by @volks)
A cool game with 4 unique characters, each with their own pros and cons. You kill enemies, collect XP, level up, and gain new skills. The game has 4–5 bosses that repeat in a cycle — they are difficult, but they give a lot of XP. It's not easy to get all 1.6k points, but the game is very addictive — I continue to play even after completing it.
• Geo Crush (by @hayleybfuller)
A game that makes you think — how to move the symbols correctly to move on. It's very visually appealing, so you want to play it again and again. Points are hard to get, but the process is enjoyable.
• Far Nouns (by @verror09)
A wonderful strategic game with dice. The beautiful visuals make you want to play. Points are easier to earn, which makes the game even more enjoyable.
I've already collected all the points in these games, but I continue to play to earn XP to level up in Remix.
2. Daily Game
— Every day, you can log into Remix and play the ‘Daily Game,’ for which you receive additional points. Initially, you receive 100 points for the Daily Game, but with each Daily Streak, this amount increases by 100 points. You can also receive a bonus for your activity.
3. Challenges
— You can challenge your friends to play for your own points if you win your friend's points and vice versa. There are separate quests for challenges in your profile, for which you can also earn a total of 760 points, but the main thing is to complete these quests, because they can be a multiplier for the airdrop.
4. Create games
— There is also a quest for developers that gives you 5k points for creating a game, but the main thing is the future multiplier for the drop
5. Referral system
— For referrals, you can get 1.9k points, as well as an additional 25k + further rewards. The most interesting thing is that you get 50% of their points from referrals, as well as 2x all points for games
These are all the possible ways to earn points. We also talked about quests that may serve as a multiplier for the drop in the future

Remix & TBA
✤ Over the past month in the crypto space, and especially in the Base ecosystem, everyone has been talking about TBA as an update for Coinbase Wallet. Last week, Base announced an official Stage featuring Brian Armstrong, @jesse.base.eth, @tike (noice), @blackstock (a member of the Remix team) and other influential people from the Base ecosystem. Interestingly, this Stage is scheduled for the day of the TBA release — 16 July. Obviously, this invitation to the Stage with the CEO of Coinbase himself is not simple, which suggests that Remix will be in TBA
What will this mean for the project?
— At a minimum, it will bring a larger audience and greater interest in the project, in which Coinbase itself has invested. At most, this attention may bring additional investment to the project, which will have a very positive impact on it
✤ Today we talked about the best GameFi project in the Base ecosystem, where it is definitely worth farming points, because the upcoming airdrop could be very large 8 replies
