Does your cat touch your nose? My cat touches my nose with hers, once in while and I find this very funny and nice. I googled it, didn't know what it is, it seems their mother does that to them when they are babies so they learn her scent and how to recognize her even before they open their eyes. So then they learn this as a form of greeting like "Hi, I know you" in their world.
