You have to grasp that $BTC will not ever be used in daily transactions and thus be global currency.
The accounts and coins of it cannot be frozen by the authorities.
The cash however, can be and bank accounts too.
If any currency would be global, it surely cannot be
- limited supply
- unauthorized
