I was really in my head. I’m not usually in my head but today was objectively hard. Had difficult customers

I spilled my hojicha latte all over my white tablecloth and ruined a bunch of inventory. Soured my mood but I ended up giving the tablecloth to my other vendor neighbour, a super talented designer who thrifts materials and upcycles it into clothing. I saw him sell a jacket for $500 the first day and then the handbag for $300 the next day to the same customer. Really amazed me at the type of relationship he had w his customers - I sense I was tough on my employee because I was stressed. I wasn’t rude with her, but I did give a lot of feedback. Halfway through we broke even and by the end of the night we reached our sales goal. I doubled down on the encouragements after I recognized I was stressed. - Learning that there will always be one customer who hates my product. Some customers make these gross faces after smelling my candles 😩
