@july I think you'll love this if you don't already know about it. It's basically dynamicland but the code is available on the internet (at a slightly jenkier early stage)

Basically software to run a projector-camera pair user interface. You can assign programs to physical tokens that are picked up by the camera and then displayed on your work surface by the projector
