🐶 BarkBase is officially on its way to becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
This is real. This is happening.
We built BarkBase to do one thing: make sure no rescue dog becomes invisible. We surface the overlooked — seniors, big dogs, rural shelter pups, the ones the algorithm forgot — and put them in front of people who care.
Now we're taking the next step. We've started the 501(c)(3) process, and while it takes time, we are not sitting still:
✔️ Signing up direct rescue partners (small, rural, foster-based rescues doing the hardest work)
✔️ Finalizing our Board of Directors
✔️ Building materials for rescues, vets, and communities
✔️ Executing our growth strategy — a clear roadmap for scaling the platform and deepening rescue partnerships
✔️ Right now, donations are via crypto (ETH/USDC on Base). Once we're officially tax-exempt, we'll add credit/debit/Apple Pay — and your donations will be tax-deductible.
