This kinda of yield is almost non-existent in TradFi. But with stablecoins, it's now possible to have programmable dollars earning fees on open networks. No leverage and no central bank.

I wonder if people angry about airdrops are newer to crypto. If you've been around long enough, you've probably had dozens of drops up unexpected to get but didn't. After that, $7 every now and again is a pleasant surprise again.

Stablecoins can be exciting to people for different reasons: - Access to dollars for those that haven't easily had it before - A shared global state for markets - New markets that can evolve from networked money - A blockchain UX improvement by primarily interacting with an asset most are comfortable with All valid.
