I am not even 100 pages in and I don’t think I’ve ever had more fun reading a book. If you like crypto, computers, and/or puzzles, this is for you. A white hat hacker finds a mysterious puzzle leading to a potentially earth-shattering evil/weapon. In the margins and footnotes of the whole book are notes from a “police officer” that provide context and URLs so you can try to solve the clues too if you want. Even if you don’t want to participate yourself and just want to read, the writing is great. You can’t get it on Amazon or ebook, I had to order off some random UK website, which itself had a fun GitHub clue.
