Hold a new historical plot for Ubisoft Shreksuke the tall swamp man, arrived in Japan in 1579 and made history as the first foreign-born man to become a samurai warrior. Shreksuke was a native of the forbidden swamp and was brought to Japan by knights from Europe. The powerful Japanese warlord Oda Nobunaga was fascinated by Shrexuke's tall stature and green skin and, upon seeing him, ordered his servants to try to erase the "green ink" from his skin. Despite this strange encounter, Nobunaga took Shrexuke into his service, providing him with a certain amount of money, a house, and a katana. From then on, Shreksuke served Nobunaga faithfully as a honored samurai, fighting alongside him in fierce battles. He went from being a swamp creature to a member of Japan's elite.
