tried using a CEX after a long time to pay in usdt, I had to
- CEX didn't accept base usdt, had to swap to base usdc
- wait for my deposit to show up after 2 mins of sending from my self custodial wallet
- payment had to be made in usdt, so i had to swap back to usdt (not to be confused by usdcusdt perp and spot)
- had to do 42069 confirmations from my mail, authenticator app and put the last 4 words of the address for confirmation for a simple send txn
no way we're onboarding normies and merchants to crypto through CEXs
bullish self custodial wallets, bullish DeFi and bullish on @zerion.eth for actually getting UX right.
