Multisig sounds like “more signatures = more safety.” In practice it’s a band-aid for how most chains execute. Because transactions run on shared, public global state, adding signers also adds friction: more coordination, more failed attempts, more time, more cost. Over time, control drifts to the few people who are always online, and UX gets worse. That’s not a tooling issue — it’s the execution model.
